Cougars sweep Mustangs

Basketball, Cougar Athletics

1/27/2022: The Cottage School Cougars hosted the Mill Springs Mustangs on Wednesday night. The Cougars used their experienced talent to make it difficult for MSA to score eventually pulling out the victory 48-12.

TCS used their strong defense to all but put the game away keeping Mill Springs scoreless until the tail end of the second period. Cottage jumped ahead 25-2 at intermission. The second half was more of the same and the Cougars went on to win 48-12. There were some fun highlights along the way, and they are described in the game notes below.

TCS reached 15 wins for only the fourth time in school history (2009, 2010, 2013) and are still undefeated in AAC competition for the third year in a row. The Cougars will take on the Howard School Friday for Senior Night. This contest will count twice as the first two games during the season were counted as GISA region 5AA wins.
