High School Celebrates Black History Month
The high school had our final pop up visit to celebrate Black History month. On Thursday, the students had a visit from Kayla’s Italian Ice, served from the Cougar Cafe’. Read more about this mother-daughter black owned business here.
The high school also sponsored a door decorating contest to celebrate and honor Black History. Each homeroom worked to decorate their door to honor and highlight black individuals who played an important role in history. Below are a few examples of the creative doors that were put together. The students will be voting on the best door on March 1.
