2023 GIAA State Meet
This past Thursday, Friday, and Saturday the qualifying athletes from region: Madison Clark, Finley Love, Celeste Jeoffroy, Lillian Travis, Hannah Katz, Lexi Harrison, Wil Moore, Tyler Robinson, Nicholas Robson, Jonah Lorman, Eric Born, Gabriel Cronin, Jack McGrew, Aiden Misnuner, Nick Elliott, and Noah Velasco set out to conquer the 2023 GIAA State meet. For the girls 4×100, Clark, Love, Jeoffroy, and Travis ran a personal best of 1:05.54 placing 20th. For the boys 4×400, Moore, Born, Lorman, and Robinson ran a personal best of 4:47.63 placing 21st. For the 800 meters, Madison Clark ran a personal best of 2:56.75 placing 19th. For the boys 300 meters, Wil Moore with a personal best of 53.27 placing 21st. Jack McGrew completed the 300 meters, unfortunately he was disqualified from the 300 meters. For the 110 high hurdles Nick Elliott ran mightily with the time of 20.84 placing 19th. For the girls 1600, Madison Clark crushed the race with a personal best time of 6:28.27 placing in the top 10 while Finley Love ran a personal best of 7:10.09 placing 21st. In the boy’s triple jump, Noah Velasco set a new personal record with a jump of 34-6 placing 14th. In the boy’s discus, Aiden Misnuner through a deep one of 91-6 placing 14th. For the 3200-meter run, Madison Clark placed 6th making her an All-State athlete with a personal best of 14:14.04. Please congratulate these athletes for all their hard work.
