TCS Archery – St. Jude E-Championship Virtual Tournament – 12/13/23
The Varsity Archery team’s fourth event of the season was held Wednesday, December 13th on the TCS archery range for the St. Jude E-Championship Charity Tournament. December’s tournament included 121 programs (2,032 participants) located in 28 different states and one Canadian province raising $9,056 for the season.

Andrew Little posted the team’s highest overall score of 245 edging out Charlie Kish’s 243. The highest 10 meter target score (49) was shot by Andrew Little while the 10 meter high round (133) was recorded by Cooper Van Wingerden. Charlie Kish scored the highest 15 meter target score (44) and Andrew Little turned in the best 15 meter round score (119).
NASP tournament personal bests were scored by Zac Fairclough (236-previous 225) and Michael Shaw (225-previous 207).
Although this result was a slight regression from the Bear Country Christmas Shootout, it is encouraging to see so many different archers contributing excellent targets and rounds. We will have to hit the road running as there will be a flurry competitions shortly after returning from the winter break. The next tournament is scheduled for Wednesday, January 10th for January’s St. Jude E-Championship virtual tournament followed be the GIAA State Varsity Archery Tournament on Saturday January 13th.
