Finishing out a solid week for the Middle School XC team, many runners braved the torrential rains to wade through the muddy swamp that is Mill Springs’ Athletic Fields in attempts to show their mettle. For the first time in school history, TCS recorded 1st through 6th place as the mixed boys and girls race came to a close. Veteran Hannah Katz just outstepped freshman Skylar Brown for first place showing that experience is a crucial component to victory. Coming in third was Jackson Barnes who finished just before Addison Bowlin. Rounding out the teams finishes were Malia Richards in 5th and Colin Ryerson in 6th. All the runners completely showed out and impressed everyone as they did not let a little bit of water scare them off. The team has it’s next meet at Mill Springs Academy on October 7.
