Mill Springs Academy Meet Results

Cougar Athletics, Cross Country

Yesterday, The Cottage School Harriers competed in the Mill Springs Academy Invitational and are well pleased with their efforts.  Finley Love raced over hill and dell for the girls and placed 24th with a time of 35:24. On the boys’ side, Senior Camden Michaud returned to the fold with a vengeance by placing 4th to a handful of young stallions from both public and private contingencies; he will improve as Runner of the Week.  Cam ran 19:58 on a hot, hilly course covered with an overabundance of energy sapping untended grass.  Frosh, and neophyte racer Noah Velasco placed 19th with another personal record in 23:29.  Veteran “Stultan” (Stoic and Spartan) Nate Dunbar chased Noah into the chute with a top 20 performance at 24:05.  Please continue to support our young charges as they pursue excellence in life.  Hopefully, we’ll see and hear you at our next meeting of athletes held on Saturday, 09 October at the Core Community Farm at 10:00AM.
