eSports Varsity Team compete at GIAA State Championship
Congratulations to the eSports Varsity team for competing in the GIAA League State Championship. All their hard work this season of practice and strategy paid off. TCS advanced to the playoffs with a record of 5-3 and was able to compete in the tournament. They advanced to the semifinals, beating the top team Fulton Science Academy 2-1. The next match to earn a spot in the finals was against current state champion, St. Anne-Pacelli Catholic School. The players gave it their all until the last second but they couldn’t top the State Champion.
Overall, TCS came in 4th place respectively in the GIAA League. The coaches and players look forward to more gaming and competiion next season. With cheers and motivation from the team and coaches, the players look forward to a 3peat in the AAC League Championship coming up March 1st. Go Couggaarrrssssss!!!
