TCS Participates in GA Gives on #GivingTuesdayNow

Good News, Uncategorized

A special message from Dr. Steve Palmer, Head of School. #gagives #givingtuesdaynow #weatherthestorm #bettertogether

Posted by The Cottage School, Roswell, GA on Tuesday, May 5, 2020

On Tuesday, May 5th, TCS participated in #GAGives on #GivingTuesdayNow, a one-time campaign to offset unexpected expenses incurred by nonprofit organizations in the face of a global pandemic. As major fundraising events across the country–such as the Glitter Gala at TCS–were forced to cancel, many NPOs felt the impact of that financial blow. Especially challenging for The Cottage School were the unexpected costs associated with switching into a digital learning format with very little time to prepare. As Dr. Steve Palmer states, “We are in the same storm, but we are not all in the same boat.” TCS recognizes that many families are faced with uncertainty, while others are fortunate to be able to donate during this time. Our participation in #GivingTuesdayNow gave the school an opportunity to raise much needed funds to ensure we are able to continue providing the best learning environment possible for our students.

If you missed #GivingTuesdayNow, don’t worry–it’s not too late! Click here to donate today, and learn more about GA Gives. As always, we can’t thank you enough for your generosity!

Even though we’re apart, we are one COUGAR family at heart!
