Dominion Invitational Results

Cougar Athletics, Cross Country

Saturday’s meet at the Dominion dash marked a chilly and successful meet for the Cougars! The course presented a wonderful opportunity for the Cougars to set new personal records. Senior Bri Worrell started off strong for the Cougars by conquering the course coming in 25th place with a time of 28:15. Way to go Bri!!

The boys team fought hard in their race and came in 5th place as a team. Senior Nick Daugherty led the boys team coming in 12th place with a time of 20:21. Junior Camden Michaud, who has made an excellent recovery from knee complications, came in 22nd place with a time of 21:08. Following Camden came 8th grader Ryan Gaffneystone in 36th place with an impressive personal record of 22:40. Senior Nick Helm came flying after Gaffneystone in 39th place with a time of 23 minutes even. Freshman Charlie Kish came thundering in 82nd place with a time of 26:52. Senior Mike Janyska came following close behind with an impeccable new personal record of 27:33. Senior Nick Smith bolted in 86th place with a time of 27:59. Please congratulate the boys team for a successful meet! Stay tuned for the regions meet at Mill Springs. Go Cougars!!
