Orsini Signs with West Virginia Tech

Graduating senior, Larry Orsini, has signed with the Virginia Tech Golden Bears. Larry will be running cross country and track next year as a freshman. Coach Allen McAdams summed up Larry’s time here at TCS with the following words:

“Larry, a relative newcomer to both cross country and track and field, was a two-time track and field state champion from 2018 (GISA AA) in the 1600m and 3200m events, a GISA state champion in cross country (in 2019 he ran a 5K in 16:47 over hill and dell), and a state runner up in 2018… Coaching Larry has been an honor and privilege. Larry is a strong leader with high honor, a keen moral compass, and a relentless drive, and he is the nicest young gentleman anyone will encounter. He’s the kind of young man you hope your daughter marries! The program, the school and I will miss him immeasurably; he is incomparable, and it isn’t just his iconic hairdo!”

Way to go Larry!
