Good News Updates from TCS Alumni
Michael Howatt (Valedictorian, TCS Class of 2007) received his Education Specialist (Ed.S) in Teacher Leadership from Valdosta State University this year. After graduating from TCS, Michael attended Valdosta State and received his Bachelors of Science in Education (B.S.Ed) in Middle Grades Education. He then went on to earn his Masters of Education (MEd) in Curriculum and Instruction from Georgia Southern University in 2017. Michael has taught in various schools in Georgia, including Tift County High School and Gwinnett County Public Schools. He is currently the Mathematics Department Chair for Summerour Middle School in Gwinnett County. Congratulations to Michael on this monumental accomplishment!
Jennifer “Jenni” Graft (TCS Class of 2019) has been recognized as a member of The National Society of Collegiate Scholars (NSCS) at Kennesaw State University. The NSCS is an honors organization that recognizes and elevates high-achieving students. Jenni says, “Never lose your passion for what you love, and always think about the positives during tough times.” Congratulations Jenni on this prestigious honor!
