Cottage School

TCS faced off against Brandon Hall to open the tennis season.  Doubles team, Destin Leidner and Jack Chatlen gave it their all and maintained several long rally’s against the very large and corn-fed Brandon Hall boys.  Destin had an amazing cross ground shot that proved difficult to return.  Jack was able to get a racquet on just about every net shot leading to some unbelievable angle shots that proved difficult to return!  On the singles line, Simon Hirschhorn faced off against Brandon Hall’s best player.  Simon showed off his knowledge of smart tennis and placed the ball where his opponent was not, forcing him to stay on the run and resulting in many double bounces and lost points for the Brandon Hall player.  Although the scores do not reflect it and ended in losses for both TCS lines, the boys forced Brandon Hall to several deuce/add game points in both singles and doubles!
